Portlaoise runs touch rugby every year at Togher. This usually involves a weekly mixed social night where people of all levels meet up to go through some basics of Touch and play a game.

A Touch league is ran over the summer usually for about 7/8 weeks where people can enter teams into the league with prizes for the winners.

Finally at the end of the summer a 1 day blitz and BBQ event takes place.

Portlaoise Touch Rugby also enters teams into the Irish Touch Association events and competitions
